This Is the OnePlus 13 and OnePlus 13R
Android
OnePlus has revealed its flagship smartphone lineup for 2025, the OnePlus 13 and OnePlus 13R. They will probably be some of the best Android phones we’ll get this year, with great screens and up to a Snapdragon 8 Elite chip.
OnePlus has just announced the OnePlus 13 and the OnePlus 13R, the company’s pair of flagships for the year 2025. The OnePlus 13 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, delivering flagship-level performance, and boasts a DisplayMate A++ display with RadiantView technology for optimal viewing in any lighting condition. It also features up to 512GB of storage and 16GB of RAM. In the camera department, the phone boasts a main camera with a 1/1.4″ 50MP Sony LYT-808 sensor, a 120-degree ultra-wide-angle camera with a 50MP ISOCELL JN5 sensor, and a telephoto camera with a 1/1.95″ Sony LYT-600 sensor and Triprism lens design.
Like it’s usual, the OnePlus 13 is the best of the bunch, while the OnePlus 13R is a bit more modest by comparison. The OnePlus 13R packs a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 instead, and in the US, you can get this phone with up to 256GB of storage and 12GB of RAM—the phone is available with a full 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage in India, but we don’t have that kind of luck in this side of the pond. As far as camera goes, we have a Sony LYT-700 sensor which is used as the primary camera, and a 50-megapixel S5KJN5 telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom, used for portrait shots. Finally, the third camera is an unidentified 8-megapixel ultrawide sensor.
There is no pricing or availability info about either of these phones just yet, but we’ll have to wait and see. Keep an eye on OnePlus’ website if you want to know more.
