Leak Reveals BlackBerry’s Upcoming Android Models: Get Ready!

Images of BlackBerry’s two upcoming Android phones have surfaced. Reportedly named “Hamburg” and “Rome,” keeping with the company’s tradition of using cities as code names for its devices, the images come from BlackBerry Central founder Dylan Habkirk (via Times News UK/GSMArena).

The leaked image (below) of Hamburg doesn’t show the device with a physical keyboard, but it’s possible that it could be a slider like the BlackBerry Priv.

Not much else is known about Hamburg. The image shows dimensions of 146 mm long by 78 mm wide, but there’s no indication as to how thick the phone will be. There also appears to be a speaker grille along the bottom, and the frame looks to be made of metal.

Hamburg will reportedly be released sometime in the second half of 2016 for a price around $400.

Rome does have a physical keyboard, and looks like a slimmed-down version of the Passport. There is no rumored release timetable for Rome.

There weren’t any specs released in the leak other than Hamburg’s height and width, so we’ll just have to wait and see if any other news springs up.
