Samsung followed up its announcement at IFA 2014 of the new Note devices with the Samsung Gear S, the latest smartwatch offering from the tech giant.
The curved display is a killer feature that looks flat-out fantastic. The watch foregoes Android Wear for its own Tizen-based OS, and comes with various connectivity radios, so it can be used without being tethered to your phone.
At this point, there’s no word on pricing or availability, but it is slated to become available in select markets in October.
