Like many of you softModders out there, I’m always on the lookout for the newest ROMs, and that usually requires multiple ROM installs every week. While Google is pretty good about restoring apps, sometimes it misses some and it can be a hassle to get them all installed again.
Of course, the same dilemma applies when setting up new devices, like the HTC One M8 you may have just picked up. Luckily, there is now an easy way to install multiple apps at the same time directly from Google Play.
How to Bulk Install Previously Downloaded Apps
To get started, open up the Google Play Store app and then open the sidebar menu by tapping the three-line icon on the top left. From there, tap the My Apps option and select All.
From there, you will be able to select multiple apps by tapping and holding, and then selecting the other apps you want to install. After you have them all selected, tap the Install button on the top right.
Now simply accept the permissions for the apps you’re installing, and you’re all set. Now your ROM flashes, or installs on a new device, won’t cause you headaches when trying to set up all your apps again.
