If you’ve noticed moments when there’s a drop in quality when listening to a song on Apple Music, it’s not just you. When on a cellular connection, the streaming quality drops when compared to that of a Wi-Fi connection.
Thankfully, there’s an easy fix to get high-quality streaming when listening with mobile data on your iPhone, or even your iPad, if you have a mobile data plan for it.

Enable High Quality on Cellular
Inside of the Settings app, go to Music and scroll down all the way to the bottom until you see “High Quality on Cellular.” Enable it and all the music you stream from Apple Music when on a cellular connection will now be at the highest quality possible—256 kbps AAC.
Apple warns that this may cause songs to take longer to start playing, but if you’ve got a great cellular connection, it should be nothing to worry about.
