If you were holding out on an iPhone X but still haven’t bit the bullet on the $1,000+ price tag, it may be because you’re not sure how it will feel in your hands compared to the iPhone 8 or iPhone 8 Plus, which are pretty much the same size as the last three iPhone models you know and love. We can help you figure this out, though, with a simple printout to compare phone sizes in your hand.

Eventually, you’ll want to head down to your local Apple Store to feel these things in your hand for real, but until you muster up the energy to do so (which may never happen if you live nowhere near one), you can just cut out the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, and iPhone X images in our printout. It won’t have the depth of the real iPhones, obviously, but they will help you get a feel for how long and wide the phones will be in your hand and pockets.

You’ll want to use a standard letter-sized sheet of paper and print without any borders or scaling. It should be 100% when printing, and the cutouts should be as accurate as it gets after you cut them out.

Just download our printable PDF, print it, cut out the device templates, then hold them in your hands, add them to your pockets, put them in your purse … whatever it is you need to do to see what size is best for you. If you want to add the third dimension to them, cut out a thin sheet of cardboard measuring about 0.29 inches and paste or tape it onto the cutout.
