Exciting Update: T-Mobile Note 3 Gets KitKat!

As reported by member Rick, the Android 4.4.2 KitKat update is rolling out right now for the T-Mobile variant of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, matching the Sprint and US Cellular updates from last week.

While we don’t have any specifics from T-Mobile regarding the update, it can be assumed that it brings the standard KitKat features such as immersive mode, transparent status bar, lock screen upgrades, and cloud printing support.

Rick is also reporting that his update went smoothly, without any apps going missing and that his launcher settings and layout remained intact.

If you haven’t yet received the 496MB over-the-air (OTA) update, you can force a manual check by heading into Settings -> General -> About device -> Software update.

Have you received your update? Everything running smoothly? Let us know in the comments.

Just updated your iPhone? You’ll find new emoji, enhanced security, podcast transcripts, Apple Cash virtual numbers, and other useful features. There are even new additions hidden within Safari. Find out what’s new and changed on your iPhone with the iOS 17.4 update.
