1] Initial checklist

Here are some initial preliminary checks that you can perform before proceeding to advanced fixes:

• Another thing you should check is whether the Dicate feature is supported in your version of Microsoft Office. Dictate is unavailable in Office 2016 or 2019 without Microsoft 365.

2] Check your microphone
