Breaking News: Moto 360 Smartwatch Flying Off Shelves! 🚀

The most anticipated of the Android Wear devices—the Mote 360—was not only officially unveiled, it’s also available to buy right now, for the low price of $249.99.

Let’s get this out of the way right now—you’re not going to find a better looking Android Wear device anytime soon. Motorola spent a lot of time getting this right. Rumors of this watch have been circulating all year, and when it was finally shown off at Google I/O a few months ago, the buzz hit a fever-pitch.

But now it’s here, not only conceptually, but physically. Coming in at $250, you can pick one up at your local Best Buy (or online), through the Google Play Store, or directly from Motorola.

Update: Already sold out through Motorola and the Play Store, but try these Best Buy links while they’re still available:

Being an Android Wear device, the Moto 360 isn’t drastically different than its peers from a software or operational standpoint—its looks are what set it apart. Being one of two circular smartwatches on the market (the LG G Watch R being the other) gives the advantage of actually looking like a watch (though at present, Android Wear isn’t perfectly optimized for round faces, with some corners being cut-off).

The watch will initially come with six preloaded watch faces, with your choice of black or silver bezels, with corresponding genuine leather bands (Best Buy will have an exclusive third band available). In the coming months, you’ll be able to purchase the device with two exclusive metal bands for $299.99, or buy them separately for $79.99. And of course, we expect plenty of aftermarket bands for the device as well.

The device comes with a wireless charging dock which turns your watch into a desk clock, and you’ll definitely need that sucker. Motorola pushed the point that you’ll want to change the 360 daily, but real-world use will likely require that you dock it whenever you have the chance.

All-in-all, you’d be hard pressed to find a better looking smartwatch on the market, unless you prefer the rectangular look. Let us know what you think of the Moto 360 in the comments below, and as always, hit us up on Facebook and Twitter.
